If an individual is convicted of an aggravated sex offense, a hearing must be held to determine his risk of re-offense to the community. Once the hearing is completed, the district court will classify the individual as posing a high, moderate or low risk of re-offending. By law, only persons that are determined by the court to be at a high risk of re-offending, will be placed on the web site. Most registered offenders do not fall into this high risk category and therefore, you will not see their identities posted to these pages."
